Dr. Jerry Chiu
PERIODONTIST
Dr. Jerry Chiu is a board-certified periodontist in both the USA and Canada. He first completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Medical Laboratory Science at the University of British Columbia. Then, he pursued his passion for dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry where he was consistently ranked in the top 10% of his class, was inducted into the National Dental Honors Society called Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), and received recognition from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He went on to complete advanced specialty training in periodontology at the historically prestigious Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he concomitantly obtained a master’s degree in periodontology studying the relationship between diabetes and periodontitis.
Dr. Chiu went on to accept a position as a clinical assistant professor in the department of periodontology at Boston University, which has allowed him to fulfill his desire to stay current in the ever-evolving field while teaching future periodontists. He has also been practicing around the Greater Boston area to provide dental services in periodontics and implant dentistry, rescuing teeth from periodontal disease and providing implant services when necessary, using a spectrum of traditional and innovative techniques depending on his patients’ unique needs.

Dr. Ya-Ting Yu
PROSTHODONTIST & PERIODONTIST
Dr. Ya-Ting Yu obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Kaohsiung Medical University, following which she served as a cosmetic restorative dentist in Taiwan. She subsequently pursued her higher education in the United States and received a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics, alongside a Master of Science in Dentistry (Biomaterial and Restorative Science) from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Yu then earned a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontology and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, attaining her a unique US trained doctoral and Perio-Prostho specialists qualification.
As a board-certified specialist in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, Dr. Yu currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of the Advanced Specialty Education Program, Department of Periodontology, at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Her specialized training in Periodontology and Prosthodontics enables her to focus on teaching advanced esthetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction techniques, utilizing the latest technological advancements and techniques.
Furthermore, Dr. Yu is actively involved in various continuing education programs, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to dental professionals worldwide.

Dr. Yo-Wei Chen
PROSTHODONTIST
Dr. Yo-wei Chen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Taipei Medical University in Taiwan. Following this, he underwent residency training at Taipei Medical University Hospital and practiced privately before relocating to the United States. Dr. Chen then pursued Advanced Education in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science at Tufts University. Additionally, he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University.
Currently, Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics. Dr. Chen is also an active member of the International Team for Implantology and Academy of Osseointegration. His clinical and research interests focus on digital dentistry, implant dentistry, dental materials, and artificial intelligence in dentistry. Dr. Chen has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for leading publications in his field. With his clinical expertise covering all aspects of implant, aesthetic, and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Chen is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients while advancing the field through education and research.

Dr. Jess Liu
PERIODONTIST
Dr. Jess Liu received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. After completing the General Residency Program at Maimonides Medical Center located in Brooklyn, New York, and one year of restorative dentistry in private practice, Dr. Liu then completed his advanced specialty training in Periodontology and a Master’s degree in Oral Biology at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Liu is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and currently maintains a private practice limited to Periodontology and Implant Surgery in Boston. He is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Implant Fellowship Program in the Department of Periodontology at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he focuses on teaching minimally invasive surgical techniques and integration of digital dentistry with periodontics. In addition, he lectures and instructs training courses in periodontics and implantology with dentists domestically and internationally.
